GroceryBee is a preorder. We're building the first production run now and expect to ship in fall 2026. Preorder customers ship first, and we'll email you the moment your box is on its way.
Do I need the device, or can I just use my phone?
The app is how you shop the list — sorted and ready when you're at the store. The device is how the list gets built. And building it is the hard part: opening an app to log a single empty jar is more effort than the moment deserves, so it never happens and the list stays incomplete. GroceryBee makes it a one-second scan on the way to the bin — no phone, no unlocking, no typing. That's also why anyone in the house can keep the list going, phone or not.
Is there a subscription?
No — everything GroceryBee does today is included in the purchase: scanning, your shopping list, and full access for everyone in your household, with no recurring fee. Down the road we may offer optional premium services for people who want more from their kitchen, but they'll always be exactly that — optional. What you're buying here keeps working, in full, subscription-free.
What's the difference between the packs?
Just how many devices are in the box — one, two, three, or four. The bigger packs bring the per-device price down. One is plenty for most kitchens; multipacks are for larger homes, a device per floor, or gifting.
Can I cancel my preorder?
Yes. Since you're reserving ahead of production, you can cancel any time before your order ships for a full refund. After it arrives, there's a 30-day return window.
Will my data stay private?
Yes. Your list and your scans are yours. We don't sell them, don't share them, and you'll be able to export or delete everything anytime. The full policy goes up before launch.
